Book your flight to arrive at the Sonoma County Airport. Or, if you are feeling adventurous trust your travel bug and book to fly into San Francisco or even Oakland airports.
From the 101 north of San Francisco, take exit 494 River Road towards Guerneville. Continue driving 16 miles until entering into downtown. From this point you are definitely on your own. We have no idea where you are going.

October marks harvest season through out Russian River and Dry Creek valleys. Now to think of it, basically all of Sonoma County. Because of that we are asking all wedding guests to think about booking their travel and lodging sooner rather than later. We have tried to pull a variety of locations below that we feel will be easily accessible to our shared shuttle doing pick ups in downtown Guerneville.

Activities in the Russian River Area
For over 100 years, the Russian River has been the summer playground for West Coast California. Located just a short drive from the San Francisco and Sacramento areas, visitors can explore the majestic redwoods, incredible wineries, fine dining, eco-adventures, spa days, river activities and so much more in an incredibly beautiful, natural setting.
The Russian River and surrounding beauty that is Sonoma County offers up ample opportunities to taste the best of California wine. The provided vineyards are places that have embedded themselves into our memories where endless laughs and delicious tastings occured.
Nothing makes a day on the river or in the vineyards better than finding something delicious to eat. The provided restaurants all culminate to make for a perfect pairing to any type of day. More importantly, check out a few of the local breweries to get a hold of some of California's best beers.
Although we prefer the grapes and eating parts of the river, there are definitely a plethora of great day trips to be had in the area. A few of these we have actually been to and the majority we are excited to try. Get out there and see it all! Trust us we would BUT we are just too full and tipsy.
